Margaret S. Wingerd is a Registered Portfolio Administrator with Burke, Lawton, Brewer & Burke, having joined the firm in 2008. Margie's primary areas of responsibility include providing administrative, operational, and trading support for a number of managed accounts. Margie also works closely with several of our portfolio managers to meet a wide variety of client needs. Margie is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as a General Securities Registered Representative (Series 7).

Margie has over twenty-five years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, Margie was a Vice President with Walnut Asset Management, LLC and a Registered Administrative Assistant with Rutherford, Brown & Catherwood, LLC (Walnut's affiliated broker-dealer) – positions she held for eighteen years. Prior to 1990, Margie worked for W.H. Newbold';s Son & Co, Inc. and Paine Webber Jackson & Curtis, Inc. Before joining the financial services industry, Margie spent four years as a fourth grade teacher.

Margie is a 1979 graduate of Shippensburg State University with an M.A. in Elementary Education and a 1976 graduate of Cedar Crest College with a B.A. in Elementary Education and Psychology.
